Project description
This poster design project promotes the Blooming Butterflies exhibit at Olbrich Gardens through a coordinated set of two posters. Working within specific design guidelines, I explored the use of shape, vibrant color, and butterfly imagery to create eye-catching compositions that capture the beauty and energy of the exhibit. Each poster takes a different visual approach while maintaining a cohesive style, using colorful butterfly patterns and a soft green background to create contrast and draw attention to the event.
One poster features unconventional typography, using butterflies to form the lettering and showcase the event in a creative, unexpected way. The second poster uses bold imagery and layered butterfly patterns to frame the event information, creating a strong focal point while balancing visual interest with readability. Together, the two designs demonstrate how creative problem-solving and thoughtful composition can bring a consistent visual identity to an event promotion.
Programs Used: Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
